La collection Jeannot Perret

We have inherited an emblematic collection for accordion history!

Come and discover a treasure of inestimable value: the exceptional collection of our friend, Jeannot PERRET.

Jeannot PERRET, a long-time enthusiast and friend, had assembled the most remarkable collection in the world dedicated to the accordion. His collection includes precious photos of all accordionists from 1900 to the present day, as well as thousands of scores.

For Jean-Pierre GERMAIN, who supported this project, and Chantal PERRET, the goal was clear: deposit this treasure at CNIMA, the place where the best accordionists are trained and where this instrument always finds its place, at the top.

Thus, more than 200 binders containing tens of thousands of photos of accordionists and more than 5000 scores were deposited in our school. Students, interns, speakers and visitors will now have the opportunity to consult them, thus offering a second life to this exceptional treasure!

It is an honor for us to contribute to the conservation and sharing of an accordion heritage, in memory of our dear friend.
