Product Details
"Quite impressing this album "Francesita" by Louise Jallu, this very young and talented bandoneon player, with such a great presence.
The French musician gives us her sincere sensitive yet sometimes reflective approach of themes written by the prince of tango, Enrique Del no (1895–1967), with famous arrangements by Máximo Mori, but also with personnal arrangements on which I had the pleasure to collaborate. Francesita, Araca Corazón, La montonera and especially Griseta arranged by her, for two bandoneons and played on this album by special guest and mentor César Stroscio. Songs by Enrique Del no about women suffering from white trade, kidnapped and forced to live and die in Argentina's brothels. The country in the 20's had a high male density. It is after reading Albert Londres book "White slavery" that this unique project came to life ." Bernard Cavanna

Louise regularly gives workshops at the CNIMA.
